How Do you Feel your team is after this gauntlet of preconferance games? Are they gonna be ok for conference play or are they mentally drained?

We should be good. Ohio St. and Baylor are easily the two most talented teams I have played (offensive and defensive). I am hoping for a strong start against Yale though.

The main reason I did the stats leaders table is so you guys can reference this if you are interested in any star player on a team I'm about to play.

I messed up on the IVY League Preseason PotY. I'm trying to make this more and more presentable as we go and everyone has to start somewhere right??

                        Rematch in Providence

1/26/12 - Providence, RI: The first game between Brown and Yale ended up being a blowout resulting in Brown's 12th loss on the season. Tonight the Bears had a different outcome in mind.

"Last game Yale put 85 points up on the board and that is about 20 more than I am comfortable" said Rogers, "We made it a point to not let them get on any kind of run especially early on and we did that."

Brown played stellar defense in the first half holding Ivy League Preseason POTY, Greg Mangano, to just 2 points on 1-6 shooting.

"We also had some great contributions from the bench which went a long way in winning this game" stated Rogers, "Matt Sullivan and Josh Biber both stepped up in a huge way tonight. Matt played great on the offensive end and Josh played really strong defense in the wake of Tyler Ponticelli being injured."

"I just felt good in the shoot-around and I knew I could impact this game in a good way today" said junior Matt Sullivan, "We really played as a team today which was good since we kind of strayed away from that the past month or so."

Brown has to now face Cornell (8-7) in the only team undefeated in conference play at 2-0. Even though it is early in the conference schedule, this could be a big game for both teams.

My bad on the pictures being huge. I edited them twice but they still came out huge but oh well I'll keep working at it. Also, a couple of them didn't show up on there (a pic of each coach and the final scoreboard).

EDIT: Nevermind they are looking fine now

BROWN HITS KEY FREE-THROWS LATE TO WIN

2/1/12 - Providence, RI: Brown struggled on the defensive end and had 14 turnovers but hit key shots when they need to in route to a 72- 67 win.

"Our defense was sub-par today and we let their point guard find too many open people" said Rogers in his opening statement, "On the offensive end, we set the tone early in the second half and had the lead for a majority of the second half."

Everyone on the Bears who played, excluding Dockery Walker, scored with Taylor Wright with a game high of 16.

"My teammates did a great job of setting me up today" say Wright (freshman), "I got a lot of good looks under the basket early and that got me a lot of looks on the perimeter after I got about 3 lay-ups."

"Even though we won the game today, we have a lot to learn" said Rogers, "We let them get a lot of open looks and that showed in the statsheet."
