Andrew Scott's first season in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars proved to be a disappointment. After leading the Jaguars to a 3-1 preseason record, he was still passed on for Chad Henne. Henne started all 17 games in the season, leading Jacksonville to a 5-11 record.
Scott played in all sixteen games and managed to throw 3 TD passes on fake field goals but did not take a single snap as the quarterback.

As the offseason approached, Scott demanded to be released by the Jaguars....

Andrew Scott, the highly sought after high school prospect coming out of Westlake High in California has officially joined the NFL after three disappointing seasons at the illustrious university of Notre Dame. He will join the Jacksonville Jaguars after they drafted him with a compensatory selection in the 7th round.
