According to NFL.com, the NFL's request to expidite the appeal of the Williamses has been denied by the Minnesota court of appeals. Once again they can hold off their suspensions for testing positive for a banned substance. Even though I am very saddened by the loss of my beloved Celtics to the Lakers, I have to admit that it was one of the best finals that I have ever seen. There are very few players that I would want my child to look up to. I barley watch the NFL as it is. In my house, my children will grow up watching collegiate sports not professional. In college sports the players play for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back.
