For all you guys that own a ps3 does yours make a low clunk noise when you shut it down ?Just want to no if its normal.

Haven't noticed anuthing like that with mine, but to be honest I haven't really listened for it. I'll have to check it out.

I didnt notice it until i put my ps3 in the open to give it more room to vent .when it was in a tv stand with sides i never heard it .

Did you have a disc in the BR player? If you do and your shutting it off the BR player does have a tendency of making some noises.

no disk inside .It wouldnt be the hard drive would it.

Nope, never heard that sound. I've had my ps3 in a tight space but I moved it to the very top of my computer desk (it has a ledge above the monitor).

The only thing that has went remotely wrong with my ps3 is that the cover that has the eject and power button on it pops up alittle bit when it got really cold.
