Just bought a PS2 need some recommendations?

My wife was dying to play GH1 and the 80's edition so I went out and picked one up yesterday. I also bought MLB07 and I'm as impressed with it as any game I've played the last few years. Here's what I'm considering picking up over the course of the next few days/weeks. Are there any games or series that I'm missing from the list below that are "must plays" for the PS2? I haven't really played a PS2 since 2001 or so when I got my first XBOX.

The whole SSX series (for my wife)
Gallop Racer Series
Hot Shots Golf series
Kingdom Hearts series
Rugby 2008
MVP07
Metal Gear Series
God of War Series
WE PES07 (for the option files)
Ace Combat Series

Also, what do I need to do rosters for the PS2? I'd like to have it just to download option files for the PS2.

I would add the following:

Jak and Daxter series.
Ratchet and Clank series
Twisted Metal Black
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XII
Star Ocean
*I would only get Hot Shot Golf Fore* (each successive release contains all the previous content and just adds courses and golfers)

I also really enjoyed the original Devil May Cry and Onimusha games back when i had a phat PS2, but haven't played any of their sequels.

and along with the 'Jak' and 'Ratchet' games, try out the 'Sly Cooper' games as well...they are a lot of fun and are my wife's favorite series.

I would pass on Bully, a SE is coming to the 360 this fall.

Thanks fellas for the advice on the games. I'm skipping Bully for the reason EG listed. I already have FIFA and play it religiously on my 360 (the XBOX version not the stripped down 360 version). JRod thanks for the advice on the Hot Shots, I was planning on picking up both of them so you saved me some cash. What do I need to get rosters and or option files for the PS2?

I thought Shadow of the Colossus was a great game and I belive it was playstation only iirc
