Which is better ? What does everyone prefer ?

It depends on what you like as a gamer.

The PSP has nicer graphics and some games are near-PS2 level in terms of graphics/quality. You can also watch movies, listen to music, browse the web, read comics and other stuff on PSP.

The DS's graphics aren't as good (maybe PS1 level) but as we know, Nintendo's focus isn't on graphical power. With the stylus control, you'll get a new gaming experience and there are some pretty innovative games out there - like a Trauma Center - that you can't play anywhere else.

I have both and enjoy both, but have to admit I do use my PSP a little more these days as the PSP has a much-stronger library of sports games than the DS.

I must say it does not matter. If you like old time games that have been revamped then i would suggest the DS. If you like sports games, then I would suggest the PSP

PSP= Movies, music, Pictures anf gamig and firmware updates, nuff said.
