No Buddy. It means that they recognize that you placed your order PRIOR to the them accepting second wave Pre-Orders. Thus you, just like those with the Launch Edition version, will receive yours on Release Day. You weren't screwed over. You're going to get it on Release Day.

Not a problem. Glad you guys are getting your system on time. Amazon is typically pretty great with Customer Service, so I was never too worried.

Yeah I always buy from Amazon to support them because they have always been great to me. Plus I am a Prime member so free release day shipping and no taxes

Glad to see this all get straightened out, and everybody who ordered Monday night will be getting there's on release day.

Got my confirmation of it being "Launch Edition" this morning from Amazon, at first I thought it was an email telling me it had shipped, almost had a heart attack. lol.

If you look below the description on Amazon, it says:

Whatever that means

That means the first allotment is guaranteed, first allotment means "launch edition".

"Standard edition", means whenever they get more in.

How are we this confused?

If you got the "launch edition" you get it launch day shipping guaranteed. If you have the "standard edition", they can not guarantee launch date. Due to the manufacturer, and when they replenish Amazon.

They are both the same PS4. Just Amazon labeled the allotments they were guaranteed from the distributor.
