Its really hard to give genuine pros and cons for both systems. They are both good and like someone above said, having both is best of both worlds. I got both mainly for the exclusives on each system. But if I had to give one the edge over the other. I would have to say Xbox One mainly because I am hooked with talking to my TV, changing channels, and playing games with the TV in the corner.

I agree both are great, you really can't go wrong if you are only buying one. I'm loving the TV stuff on the XBO. I think I like the PS4 controller better, but I do like the rumble in the triggers on the Xbox controller while playing NBA2K14. I'm really looking forward to the second wave of games coming out. I'm pretty sure in March, every second of my free time will be spent either playing Titanfall or The Show.

I've been reading on both and it seems like PS4's graphics are better but the Xbox One controller is much more responsive and makes a huge difference. And on top of the media aspects of the Xbox One, that's why I personally love the Xbox One. But if you care about just graphics, PS4 seems to be the way to go at least right now.

The ps4 has more than graphics but that's not the point. Honestly there are no cons in particular to next gen gaming. Pick which one you want is always a plus

Only cons so far are the lighter wallet, dealing with that tangled mess of cords behind the entertanment center and a mere 24 hours in the day to enjoy the purchases.

It came down to one simple con for me and the xbox1. No mlb the show. That is the only reason I went with the ps4.

And that's a good enough reason.

Overall though, if you're not worried about PS4 exclusives, the XB1 is easily the more sturdy and put together system when looking at it in terms of noise, heat dissipation, etc.

In terms of gaming, it looks like the PS4 is slightly more powerful... or at least developers have been able to optimize their games for Sony's system.

If you're ONLY going to be gaming - the PS4 is a clear-cut winner. If you want to do more, I would be investing in the XB1. It's an entertainment centerpiece that the PS4 could have been, much like the PS3 tried to be.

I had both on pre-order but didn't want to drop a grand in a matter of two weeks. I can't roll like my man FLIGHTWHITE who I still think has connections to the mob. He's OS's Nino Brown lol.

So I grabbed my PS4 first. Reason being that for me there are no launch titles for either system that scream buy me. For myself personally my three favorite games on next gen launch are all third party titles. 2k, BF4, and Madden.

So then I started thinking about Titanfall though. But I have a pretty high end gaming PC so I have Titanfall covered there. I didn't want MLB The Show to hit in March and me not have a system to play it on.

Will I own both systems? Of course because I'm addicted to games like Pookie to crack... but I don't think there will be a reason for myself to snatch up the X1 until a must have exclusive hits. It's kinda like what I did for last gen, but in reverse. Got the Xbox first..then Got my PS3 when The Show hit.

But all in all... the pros and cons to the systems are insignifigant to me. It all depends on what you want out of a system but the games are pretty much going to look and play the same for the most part. I would say if you own both, and they both WORK.. then its a win LOL
