Trophies/Achievements Thread

After getting my first Platinum trophy in Ghost Recon Wildlands (PS4) I realized how awesome it felt. After letting my friends know, I quickly realized I was the only one who actually tried (Just recently) to get trophies.

I'm curious to know:

1. Who here actually tries to get trophies/achievements in their games?
2. How many games do you have "completed"?
3. What trophies/achievements have pissed you off that you can't seem to get?
4. Do you go online at all and try to find how other people acquired a difficult trophies/achievements to get?
5. For the trophy/achievement junkies, are there any games that you know of that you can "complete" surprisingly quick or easy?

Re: Trophies/Achievements Thread

For PS4 and PS Vita users: There is this game called "My Name is Mayo" that is literally the easiest platinum you will ever get in your life. All you have to do is tap a jar of Mayo over and over again. Literally. It costs $.99 but you if you have both PS4 and Vita, you get both copies for the price and you can platinum both! I got my 4th and 5th platinum this way.

Re: Trophies/Achievements Thread

Back in the PS3 days I used to be into it. Lot of fun getting platinums. I want to get #50 one of these days. I think I only need the multiplayer trophies for the Uncharted 4 platinum.

That's impressive! I'm late to the trophy game because I've mainly only played sports games (franchise modes) until recently.

These shooter and RPGs are pretty fun and I'm looking forward to my second plat

Re: Trophies/Achievements Thread

I don't know why Hitman's showing up when I changed the picture to Show '17...whatever.

This does go back to my PS3 days.

1: I don't really try unless I'm going to fulfill the requirements during the normal course of playing (The zero escape games are a good example of this as you're basically gifted the plat if you fully complete everything in the course of the game)

2: It's there on the card

3: None really - if there's a trophy that's going to frustrate I don't usually go after it

4: Well, I'm a member of the site where that card came from, so I look into things like that sometimes out of curiosity.

5: As I mentioned, the Zero escape games aren't difficult plats. Just a lot of reading and puzzle-solving. CS:GO was an extremely easy plat on PS3 when it came out - probably not so much these days.

Re: Trophies/Achievements Thread

I used to really chase platinums and went after some rather questionable games lol but now I don't really give much thought to it anymore. I rarely play online, and by rarely I mean damn near never, so with so many games having trophies for online I won't platinum those at all.
