Tips on flipping cards on market?

I've tried to find cards and flip them but can only seem to find cards with very minimal profit to be made and most of the time I end up taking a loss on the card. Anyone got some tips to help a rookie out?

You're about 24 hours late to make a real impact.

Buy low, consider 5% tax, sell for profit. There's really no secret on which players to buy but I have had the best success in the 2-3K range selling for 4-5K.

Re: Tips on flipping cards on market?

It seems a lot harder to flip cards right now than it was when the game first came out. The first few weeks I was able to buy cards for 10k and flip them for 15-18k within 10 minutes. Now the buy now prices seem to be a lot closer to the sell now prices, which means profits are a lot smaller.

If I were you I would always focus on popular players, on popular teams, because they sell a lot faster. I probably made between 200k-300k alone on Hanley Ramirez because he would sell so quickly. Also, I would avoid relievers and closers. They seem to not sell quickly at all.

Totally agreed, the market has definitely tightened up for me over the past couple of days.

I checked the market and didn't really see any 2k cards that were listed with a price that doubled the buy order price. You may not be listing them as the lowest price, though. I don't think I have the patience to wait for a card to sell like that but it's worth a try.

Like someone else mentioned it is a lot different from when it first came out. It's a lot tighter and you are lucky to make 1-2K on a 7-8 K investment.

Buy players that you predict are going to get a ratings increase soon.
