We wrapped up two full days of motion capture. Could not even list everything if I tried but we got a lot captured that was even on our wishlist.

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread

I look forward to giving this game a try this year. Your level of involvement with our community has won me over to give you a shot. The fact you are going to scratch that college itch, licenses or not, is the cherry on top.

I just wanted to thank you for engaging, sharing and listening. That's why this game will get my money this year.

Same here. Game will be purchased day one for me. I do have one question SPEAR...this might be a down the line reveal...but will you guys be adding in fight music and drum lines/band battles, and crowd chants? They don’t have to be specific ones for obvious reasons but the generic ones and band battles would be a phenomenal touch. Hell...I would get into something Canadian if I had too...within reason though brother...lol can’t be too girly up in here. Hahahaha I kid man. I always run my Canadian mil guys so sports don’t get spared either.

The comment I'm most impressed with, whether it pans out or not, is that he mentioned they will try to attain some college licenses. I think that's amazing.

All most of us want in a college football game is the school names, logos, uniforms, stadiums. The player likenesses are probably last on the list of wants, because everyone can either edit or as is with college dynasties, the players will be all fake within 4 years anyways.

I love that you are actually going to put the effort into trying at least to get some licensing. I think one or two years of successful sales/gameplay/reviews could maybe justify to the NCAA the school licensing but no player likenesses

Haven't been focusing on audio at this point. I did ask a composer if they could generate some generic fight songs for us but they felt it would be difficult. Tried to look loosely into soundtrack stuff as well but hasn't been a top priority at the moment.

Yes we have active applications in for licensing - still pending a final decision. Lots of dialogue with them but there is a lot of hesitation from their side on what the legal ramifications are.

My sense is that it's still a long shot.

Hey I’m just happy to see the effort being put in. You have to be told no a few times to soften it up I’m sure. Thanks for the communication in this thread as well, it’s refreshing. I’m excited already for the idea of college football
