You have to actually search for it. For some reason it doesnt appear under New Games yet.

Well after so many continuous years of playing EA’s football games I just can’t seem to play this one. First I can’t figure out the kicking mechanics, I only seem to be able to kick the ball 25 yards. Also any pass play I attempt that is not in the shotgun formation I get sacked in a second, don’t even have time to press a button. The running game however I’m having great success with. On defense I have no clue so I just let the CPU handle it. I guess it’s going to take time to get the feel of the game down. I think when I get to the point when I can move the ball down field I’ll be having some fun. Right now I’m just a bit frustrated , again no fault of the game, I blame EA. lol.

Here's a very limited impression from just one offensive series and the first load up.

1. I agree it is disappointing to not be able to play as the college teams in play now. I think that should be changed in the future as a lot of folks are buying the game only for college teams and being able to play against friends might be a big deal. (not so much to me, but that's my opinion.)

2. It is going to take me some time to get use to the control scheme. I'm so use to Madden that some parts feel normal but other button placement will take time to get use to on the game. Not a knock, more of a personal learning curve.

3. Like the passing. I didn't mix in a run in my short time with the game.

4. I didn't figure out kicking but once I have more time with the game I'm sure I will.


My time was very brief as I was on my lunch break and that's all I had time for. Looking forward to jumping in and further trying this game out. I'll post more impressions later.

Few tips:

1.) Kicking: Use the right stick to aim a bit higher and use the left stick as ONE FLUID MOTION (DO NOT HOLD BACK THE STICK).

2.) Try bumping the difficulty down to Easy for the passing and do your best to read the defense on when a blitz is coming.

3.) On defense press "B" or "circle" to switch to the defender closest to the ball. This can help when the ball is in the air or taking over on a run to tackle.

It would be neat if we could remap our own controls for the game. I don’t know if something like that is possible or can be given via patch? Either way I’m happy with the purchase. Fantastic game made by only 3 people, wow!

How do we hot route? I see it's mapped to the left joystick along with play art, but only the play art shows when I move the left joystick before snapping.

Ok first thing you need to do is forget NCAA 14 and come in with an open mind.

Graphics for some may not be Current Gen Level but I like them. They remind of a Old Gen games which work great for me.

This game is vastly improved this.year. From the massive leap into College Dynnasty mode to the Major upgrade in CPU AI.

There are some bugs but the Dev team is already addressing them.
