Team names showing up in tabs instead of School name

Does anyone know how to rename college teams without the name of the team being on the customization tab? I noticed how by default, the game displays the schools by their school name (Ex: Seattle State), but whenever there's a change to the teams name, the tab changes from school name to team name. Is there a workaround to this?

Edit: Never mind. I found that it fixes itself once you back out customization
