Since there does not seem to be a Q&A thread: I read a review where the author felt that the passing interface was difficult to use. Does this game have a configuration option for using the old three button passing like Madden does or is it placement passing only?

Yes you use classic which is just the buttons.

Mediocre linebackers can cover like Deion and catch like Moss, especially when under user control.

This game can be fairly solid if they can fix that. Let stats actually influence what the user can do.

I've played probably 7 play now games with various teams. Literally every team I've played runs turbo no hudl after almost every play unless it's a dead ball. I know that style of offense if popular in college football but geez. Another thing I've noticed is playing defense and passing on offense is HARD, at least for me.

Everyone keeps saying we're getting a Day 1 patch this Friday.. Has this been confirmed or are people just assuming?

While a small update did release today, there has been no confirmation of a patch coming Friday. Most games these days have a day 1 patch so thats where the assumptions are coming from.

Small sample size (only 3 games played) but the CPU has done that at least once against me. I got the ball about halfway into the endzone (full power meter), so was paying attention and ready to groan if he took it out.

are there simmed minutes for AI/CPU controlled teams games?

I literally want to set up a dynasty with 3 minute quarters, so I can get through multiple seasons and have stats for my entire college universe reflect that.
