Problems with Notre Dame

Question for those playing with the Golden Domers...is anyone having a terrible time with their defense giving up big play after big play? I'm on AA, with Playmakers' Level 1 sliders. I consider myself a decent player, though I did just get the 360, upgrading from PS2, but I believe my adjustment is complete.
I have played D reasonably well with other teams, thoses ranked lower than the Irish. However, whenever I play with them I just get scorched, like I only have 5 players on the field. I realize their secondary isn't the best but this is ridiculous.

Re: Problems with Notre Dame

My secondary is solid. The only time I get burnt for a really long play is when I committ to the run, and they do a play action pass.

I do notice that at the beginning of games against good teams, that the opposition will go right down the field on you, and there isn't much you can do. As the game wears on though, the ND defense gets a lot better, and it can actually be pretty damn dominating.

Right now both my pass and run defense are in the top 10 for yards allowed. I play on AA with no sliders.

Did you watch their bowl game last year vs. Ohio State? What was that, 600 yards+ the Buckeyes had that game? Charlie, is that you??? LOL..

I play with ND and I get a good share of big plays, but i can also get consistent stops as long as their momentum doesn't get out of control(heisman). I haven't seen anything too bad. Just keep working on your D and don't call a lot of the same plays over and over.

I had problems when playing against ND. Brady Quinn passed all over me as if it was one player on the field...But I was able to make alot of big plays against their defense.

Oh yeah I watched, that was awful. The D got smoked in that game. If i was playing OSU and this happened I wouldn't be too upset.

I played GT warmup for the dynasty and they had 5 possessions, 4 TDs and a FG. 31-0 with 5 minutes left in the first half. I was happy when giving up just the FG. It was nuts, I tried every D I could think of, zone, man, combos, zone blitzes - everything. Zbikowski got ran over on the goal line. Plus my O was bad too, though I blame myself more for that.
