It's the start of 2010 in my Michigan Dynasty. I have two 99 rated Strong Safeties, and another 99 rated Free Safety. My problem is that both of my 99 rated SS are Seniors, but one of them is a redshirt (he was the previous years starter). here's my depth chart at SS:

Sr (RS) - 99
Sr - 99
So (RS) - 89
So - 88

Is it cheating to redshirt my 99 rated, red-shirt eligible Senior so that he's back next year? He "deserves" to start, so I considered moving him to CB, but he drops to an 86 OVR, which isn't good enough to start at CB. It doesn't make sense to move him to FS, as I have a 99 rated player there. What to do? I just hate to see a 99 rated player relegated to a career backup.

Thoughts from anyone?

If you redshirt him, he might transfer at the end of the year. You might be able to fit the other one in in your nickel and dime packages to get him playing time.

In real life, a player transferring loses a year of eligibility (must sit one year). Does the game take that into account? If I redshirt him, at a 99, he may just declare for the draft. I just hate to waste a 99 talent.

What are the speed ratings? I'd say take the fastest of the three and move him to corner if you don't want to redshirt. Or maybe try an outside linebacker spot.

Yes it does. I have a sophmore cb who transferred from ole miss..who has to sit out this year in order to play with us at Illinois.

Good idea, I should see what all 3 of my safeties ratings are at CB before I decide whether or not to redshirt him. Redshirting just feels fake to me, for a Sr, because no real life coach would redshirt a player at that point.
