If anyone had any doubts about the 360 and PS3 now being "current gen", take a look at this:

NCAA 08

Now compare that to last year's opening week sales figures:

I'm surprised people are still buying it on PS2, to be honest.

The dudes in front of me at midnight release getting it on PS2 just made me

That's odd that they sold less overall this year. This year's game is much better than last year's IMO.

I know in my case I bought the 360 and ps2 versions at launch last year, but this year I went 360 only. I wonder how many people did the same?

I look at it like people didn't want to buy another current gen game but don't yet have the next gen systems. Give it another year(mainly, this upcoming Christmas) and the sales will back up over 850,000 in the 1st week.
