So EA is censoring critical reviews now?!

Wow EA.

The only review I can read right now is of Gamespot's Online Dynasty review...which sounds DAMN GOOD.

But that is very disturbing that 2 different people who wrote FAIR even reviews with concerns..as opposed to "rah rah propaganda" for EA are instantly "embargoed".

I hope to God that EA can.... "tweak" the game so that the QBs aren't all Joe Montana and the DBs aren't averaging 12 Defensive Touchdowns and 14 INTs a season....but.... ugh. And the fact that EA is scurrying to basically hide this doesn't make me feel any better.

But besides the issues that were already in 08 (and I still play the hell out of that game), the Online Dynasty sounds like heaven.

Well they suddenly instituted this "embargo" after they had told pasta and cdj before hand that they could post stuff immediately, it also makes no sense as Gamespot was allowed to release their information. Something seems up.

Just to be clear it had nothing to do with the content we posted. There is an embargo of May 2nd that was supposed to have been communicated to us but for whatever reason wasn't. The media sites that attended have the same embargo. However it is possible that some places have exclusives during the next week which is what the embargo would be protecting.

This isn't a huge deal. There is a review embargo on GTA4 until this Sunday, for instance.

Probably has something to do with exclusive info deals.

We all can remember what we just read for a week. If the content of the Pasta's or NCAA Strategies info changes, then, I'll be crying foul against EA for censoring. Otherwise, I can accept that it is just to protect the week of exclusivity of sites like Gamespot.

cdj mentioned that he will be able to share information about the presentation that they were shown last night before the May 2nd date, they just won't be able to share specifics about gameplay until after the 2nd.

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your perspective, the gameplay cat has been let out of the bag, so we'll all just be wondering for the next couple of months if they can make a last minute save to what seems an inexplicable decision to ignore the most glaring issue the game had.
