How Excited are you?

Every year I wait for this game to be released. I am a HUGE college football fan; I crave it all year long. For the past 4 years I've gone to a midnight launch to pick up this game......but this year is different.

After reading about the lack of a pass rush, and the QB percentages.....and reading the thread from Adam, where his answer to almost every question is, "That is something I really wanted to put in the game, hopefully in the future it will be added " .....I'm not excited about this game at all. To me it seems just like NCAA 08, except with Online Dynasties.....which is something that is completely wasted on a gamer like me.

I have never been a huge Madden fan, but after reading about all of the additions and upgrades to it, I'm actually more excited to pay that game than the NCAA game.

I'm at the point now after reading the most recent news, that I may just skip NCAA this year; To me it just sounds like there hasn't been enough change from NCAA 08 for me to shell out $60........how's everyone else feeling?

How do I feel? The opposite of what you feel. I am amped! This will hardly be NCAA 08:

- User control
- Realistic player models
- "Wide-open gameplay"
- Improved playbooks (over 800 new plays and many new formations)
- On-line dynasty
- Decreased on-line lag (I'll wait and see if this has been reduced)
- Tons of new animations
- More realistic QB release
- Improved tackling
- Pre snap adjustments, not just a static defense
- Alternate uniforms
- Customized stadium sounds
- Improved recruiting model (not as time consuming)
- New lighting model (I know the time relative lighting isn't there)
- Slightly improved presentation (more collegiate feel than just stadium pans)
- Dynamic crowd attendance
- Oh, and the turnover fest of '08 is a thing of the past!

Did I forget something?

I know I said it before, but yes. I am amped!

I agree with J-Unit. I am way too excited.

If anything, I'm more excited for online dynasty than I've ever been for a game feature in a long time.
