The most ridiculous thing about playing online..

Besides the cheese play, the most ridiculous thing about online (to me) is not being able to have the option to count your game as well as take the stats and ranking points after someone quits/glitches on you.

Just a few minutes ago, I was playing someone and I had scored on him to go up 14 points late in the first half and he glitches and disconnects and the game ends.

Is there any reason why we can't take the win, stats, etc after things like this happen?

You can, but you must finish the game against the computer ......I believe

If it helps your opponent is raising his DNF status anfter he disconnects

That's why I refuse to play guys with high DNF's and I usually make sure they know this

I know about finishing the game vs. CPU. I've had to do it before, and I didn't really like having to do that just to get a win.

I feel it would be easier to take the win without having to do all of that.

Problem is some people have real issues with their connection. Last year I got dced in my first 6 games (all right before the half) until I set my DMZ on my router.
I dont think I have had anyone quit on me yet, they have dced a couple of times (I took the ratings boost and elected to end the game). Did have one forfeit in the first half which is always nice.
