May have figured something out on accident

All my CPU sliders at 0. Played Maryland (ME) at FSU. 17-10 at half and won 34-24. Antoine Smith for CPU only had 8 carries all game. This led to more passes by CPU, which means more ints. I got the ball first, didn't threw a pick and stopped them for a field goal. They led 3-0. I finished the game. Not a very realistic game because of the flow. Well, I bump the CPU sliders back to 50, and play the same game. I throw a pick again first drive. The CPU comes out and runs Antoin Smith for 32 carries and beats me 17-10. I use my insane sliders fix here:

Is it possible that CPU Offense sliders don't control CPU logic, but may have an effect on running the football more, which can make it more realistic???

speaking as a heavy statistics person, you'll need a lot larger sample size for both the status quo and your fix. Variance is large enough in this game that you could play a certain game exactly the same way with all the same initial factors and sliders but wind up with a 35-34 scoreline and a 42-7 scoreline.

To make any conclusion at all that the observed difference is something other than white noise, unfortunately, you would need 10-20 trials for each circumstance and even that wouldn't give you much confidence in the conclusion if the means are relatively close.

So if you got the ball first, didnt throw a pick, how did they go up 3-0 on the first drive?????? smoke a little more buddy.. the sliders are broken.. get use to the idea and wait for a patch to fix it.

No reason to hammer on the guy like that birdman. All you had to say was that you don't agree with him (if you had to talk) or shut yo mouth by not typing anything. Dude just thought he had somethin thats all man.

Sorry. I did throw a pick both games, same play on the first drive. Darn slant routes. I appreciate your knowledgable response, Birdman. I'm glad you can read, and noticed my typos.
