Will we ever see formation subs?

One of the great hallmarks of the previous gen playbooks was the ability to edit the players in the game by formation, but that hasn't been included to date. The last couple of years I've seen it requested heavily in the wishlist threads, but I still haven't read anything about, so i assume we still won't see it in '10. What's the deal?

I know I'm hoping for formation subs...If they want to stop cheese, they should just have formation subs available in the dynasty at least

What gets me is that it was in so many previous editions of the game, but still hasn't made it to next gen.

The areas it impacys me most are LBs and WRs. In the 5-2 sets, I can't set the LBs I want to have one blitzer and one to drop into coverage. I end up having the speedy smaller guy get blocked on a blitz and the bigger guy burned over the top by a TE.

Same deal for WRs, without the formation subs, I get my posession guys running fly routes and my speed guys going over the middle.

It has to be a simple thing, why can't they add it?

I wish it was in the game, sucks when the game automatically picks who will be on the kickoff team, and they are slow or just plain suck. just one example why this needs to be in the game.
