Re: Pre-Season All-Americans Ncaa 2010

Yeah. Everything on the list is fine. Except for the fact that Michigan will hace 2 pre-season All Americans. Zoltan Mesko-P and Brandon Graham-DE. Alright, well the may not, but they schoul have 2 1st team pre season AA's

Re: Pre-Season All-Americans Ncaa 2010

Arenas is not the 5th or 6th best CB in the country, he's not even better than Amhad Black, Trey Simmons or Dominique Franks...he's a great return man but corner, no

Re: Pre-Season All-Americans Ncaa 2010

I love all things Notre Dame only slightly less than my wife and kids....BUT Sam Young at T as a FIRST-TEAM All-American?!?!?!?!

NO WAY! Have the people making that list been sniffing glue?!?!?!

He has been a 3-year starter, but the ND running game has declined in each of his 3 years and in 2007 he was supposed to be the glue that held together a line of all inexperienced players...the result? 3-9 and worst season in school history and gave up an NCAA record for sacks allowed in the process! Last year he was moved from LT (the "glamor" position on the OL) to RT because he is considered too slow and has horrid footwork for the LT position. Here is a guy who arguably is not even the best lineman on his own (pathetic) team's offense - that would likely be sophomore to be Trevor Robinson...so that naturally makes him a first teamer?!?!?!

That alone (and the total lack of respect for Michael Floyd - who will be an absolute BEAST when teams try to double up on Golden Tate) makes the rest of the selections highly suspect!

Re: Pre-Season All-Americans Ncaa 2010

I'm obviously going to be a little biased because I'd like to see Greg Hardy as a 1st team AA. I know he was injured and missed most of last season but he is the best DE, as far as pass rushing goes, in the SEC and may be the most dominante DE in the nation. The other DE's are excellent DE's and I'm not slighting them at all. Just partial to a guy on my team. I understand the pick but I'd easily understand it if he were 1st team too. He will be by the end of next season. I think he had 8.5 sacks last year in very limited time due to injury.

Re: Pre-Season All-Americans Ncaa 2010

Evan Royster ftw! Liking that 4th best back in the nation...he earned it last year. The slack will be on him with no Derrick Williams or Deon Butler to throw to, but he can handle it. Penn State has a very good o line most years, and royster is a great all around back...and with sean lee coming back from the knee injury itll be interesting what PSU does this year, espicially with other teams weakened by players leaving/graduating (Ohio State to name one).
