How do you Feel about Sliders?

I'm just curious about this. I know some guys hate them but there are plenty that don't like to touch them. There are other guys like myself that love to use them. And then there are the middle ground guys that might tweak a little or try people's slider sets. Which one are you?

P.S. Let's try not to let this turn into a debate over the broken sliders (to be patched) in NCAA 10 and keep it on a generic level.

I would actually like it if the developers would include pre-set slider sets that would be geared to offensive, neutral or a defensive game. That would help those that don't like to play with sliders still have a few options to tweak the game (and could be used online as well).

I voted "hate them" but I really don't hate them as they are a valuable asset for those that feel the game needs to be tweaked or want to tweak the game to their liking.

However, I do not mess with sliders. For me it becomes a never ending process of tweaking them and it gets to the point where I'm playing the game to see if my adjustments are working instead of playing the game.

So, I don't hate them in the sense that I wish they were removed, I just personally do not mess with them.

I totally understand. I want people to vote on their personal preference. There is no reason to remove sliders. I just want people to vote on whether they use them or not.

I have been all of the above at one time or another in my gaming career.

But now I never touch them unless I feel its absolutely imperative.

I have a love/hate relationship with sliders. While they are absolutely necessary in some instances (if they work properly), I tend to get so involved with tweaking them that my enjoyment suffers. If the demo is any indication of the final product, I feel this is as close to good out of the box as I've seen. The only thing I can't determine is whether or not the cpu can mount a running game.

I like them if they work. But EA's sliders are broken. They are a frustrating waste of time and changing many of the sliders is just a Placebo effect.

So I would vote that I hate them. I will probably just play default Heisman because changing the broken sliders is just an excercise in futility.

I guarantee they didn't work on these at all. Now they are going to cobble something together in the patch. I am sure they will still be broken after they "fix" them.

All you'll have to do this year is crank up the penalty sliders, lower the kick accuracy slider and lower the interception slider. If there are still no penalties, kicks are automatic and defenders still catch interception, you will know that they didn't change a darn thing from last year.

up until 09 I never touched... Was affraid that I was gonna mess something up. HAHA. Then I found this site and started trying out a few. I ended up finding some for heisman that worked pretty good. Still won a lot of games (mostly because by time I found some I was able to move up to a power house team from I bottom feeder non BCS school). But it def made all my games a challenge and actually got upset a few times.

I will never tweak the sliders myself. I would rather go off of someone elses that they tweaked and put to trial from guys on here.
