Teambuilder Problem A or Teambuilder Problem B?

I was thinking about Teambuilder, and how I love to create crappy teams in almost all sports games, and build them up. I never understood why ANYONE would make their team all 99's.

Then it hit me.

Problem A :

If we have the ability to use teambuilder teams ONLINE, as in, ranked games, there will be no use for REAL IN-GAME college teams anymore, when playing ranked. We will almost always be facing some stupid team with pink uniforms and perfect attributes.

Now, if they've thought of this and don't allow teambuilder teams online, except in online dynasty, then...

Problem B :

What about unranked? Why can't I play my friend quick with our created HS teams? The site I work for has created a HS Sim League, with over 20 sign-ups in a few days, and we expect to have 60+ in Season 1. Once I realized we may not be able to use CAS teams in private sessions, I started to panic. We might have to bail on our idea.

Solution:

Allow us to use CAS teams in Unranked games, not ranked. Simple, right?

Something tells me its not going to be that way. It'll be either Problem A or Problem B.

Unless someone (despite my hours of web/forum searching) can tell me otherwise.

People wanted teambuilder, they got teambuilder. for every person that uses TB, theres 2 that dont.

Like the fact they added TB, but should have spent MORE time fixing the overall game.

Obviously you didn't read my post. I LOVE teambuilder. But, say my buddy and I each created a HS team, and don't want to (or have time to) do an online dynasty. We just want to play against each other with our created teams. We can't, if you can only use them online in ONLINE DYNASTIES.

If they DID allow this, then that means that for ranked games you'll be playing teams with all 99 ratings all day.

Just basically stating that either one is an issue. The solution would be to allow teambuilder teams in unranked games, but not ranked ones.

So my post was ...

1 - asking if they allow them for either (ranked/unranked/both)

2 - if they allow for both, or none, explaining why that sucks, from each side.

Madden last year was able to do Regular Ranked games and then Unranked where you could use Created teams..... So I don't know why it would be any different on NCAA 10..... or am I missin' somethin' that you are gettin' at?

I remember playing my friends with created teams in Madden too, so I would think we could do the same in unranked games.

Yeah, teambuilder is a "cute" sort of feature but I want the realsim back in this game. Give me FCS teams and formation subs!
