Do you feel the presentation in "Road to Glory" should have been put in "Dynasty"

I have watched some of the videos for the Road to Glory mode that features Erin Andrews and I have to wonder why EA decided to make that mode the destination for new presentation.

A lot of us wanted the games themselves and in particular dynasty to have a highlight show, pregame, halftime, etc. Instead EA decides to put in a mode that isn't played as much as dynasty. The presentation they put in Road to Glory would have been great in Dynasty, just add in Nessler and Corso. Hopefully next year.

I have been impressed with what I've seen in gameplay compared to last year, but still need to play it for myself.

i totally agree with you. I think RTG should not even be in next years game, they could focus on more important issues, e.g. presentation, the college atmosphere, gameplay just being better in general...etc.
Anyway, I can't wait until tuesday to get my copy!

I really think they are using RTG as a trial run for Dynasty next year. I think we will get some amazing presentation bites for next year based off of what we see in RTG. Basically, I think they are using it as a stepping stone to see how well it is received and how well it works.

That's funny because I actually think the same exact thing.

I'm pretty sure the reason they added all the presentation was for people to play the Campus Legend/Road to Glory more often. They haven't focused on it since 07, and this type of upgrade to the mode was overdue.

Pretty much. We identified campus legend as an area of the game that didn't get attention last year. A designer was assigned to the mode, and the Road to Glory TV show concept was what he came up with.

I'd love to do something like this for dynasty in the future. All of the non video audio work was done by me and an engineer, and we learned a ton of stuff about doing what is essentially out of game commentary. We had never tried something like this on NCAA, so it was pretty cool jumping in head first and it working out pretty well in the end.

Well, it wasn't a dry run for something in the future as far as I'm aware. This was what came out of the design and concept phase of the dev cycle for improving Campus Legend.
