Defensive Player Stumbling

Why when I'm on Defense do my players periodically stumble forward? Is it because of their lack of agility or just that you can't change direction while sprinting for some players? Playing with a 'cupcake' roster.

Re: Defensive Player Stumbling

Are you using the stick to commit to the run/pass after the snap?

Just asking because I saw someone asking this on another board and they did not know the commit had been switched to a pre-play adjustment and that the right stick (at least on 360) is now the jump the snap.

After the snap they were hitting the stick and making their LB lurch forward thinking they were committing to the run.

If that's not the problem I don't know what it is because I haven't seen my players fall forward at all.

Re: Defensive Player Stumbling

I don't believe I'm using the right stick for anything when it happens. I believe it's while sprinting and changing direction perhaps, though I really can't replicate it on a consistent basis. Just really aggravating when you try to following a receiver's route then you stumble and they become WIDE open because of it. Thanks for any help or ideas.
