New pre snap Def. buttons!!!

Okay for some reason EA changed the buttons for pre snap def. the problem im having is i hit something when i think im only switching players and then it gets stuck in switch player mode i.e. after selecting my player if i move the LEFT stick it switches to the closest player in that direction!

HELP please!

Just wiggle the left stick a little and it fixes the problem for me. I get stuck on the switch player mode a few times a game.

I have no idea what's causing it. I think it is just glitching out.

I really like this game, but switching players in it is horrid.

Not only does it do a poor job of switching before the snap (I'll hold B and press left on the stick and instead of switching me to my LB right next to me, it switches me to the corner two players away)...but it does a terrible job of switching in game.

Once I was beat deep on a go route, and when the CPU threw it I switched players thinking I would take control of the safety. Nope, it put me in control of the CB who was a good five yards behind the WR getting burned. MY CPU defender didnt make a play on the ball and gave up a TD.

Maybe its just me but its pretty frustrating so far.

it never switches to the right player during a play... when I want the defender in front they switch me to the pursuit man. assuming im going to get the safety, i'll flick the right stick and take the pursuit man out the play instead... meanwhile the AI safety does a terrible job stopping the ball carier allowing him to Waltz into endzone

So no one has a fix for this it is the only thing holding me back from fully enjoying this game (except for the passing camera)
