Switching Players on Defense and the New Patch

Saw this on the patch notes and my 360 is being repaired so I cant test this out. Has it changed at all? Is it more like last year's logic? Because, especially during user games, I misjudge who im going to switch to on defense and run them out of the play. It happens to me quite a bit especially in the defensive backfield.

Ive also had trouble judging the angles that WRs are running especially out in the flats. Ive learned better by now, but when I first got the game I would switch to user catch a ball in the flats and after the catch animation my player would look like he is drunk and slowly sway upfield losing precious momentum(as if I took my finger off turbo or something). It is just different than last year I guess, as Ive said I have adjusted to this one, but switching players on defense still burns me sometimes. anyone else notice an improvement/change?

I don't recall a mention of this in the list of changes on pastapadre's site.

Was playing a game yesterday and it made one switch that really surprised and screwed me, so I guess maybe that means it's not fixed?

if the switch wasnt what you are used to then it has changed. it was in the patch notes. and someone quoted pasta as saying it was improved. anyone else notice anything?

I've noticed a difference. I've only played one game since the second patch but I thought the player switching was much better. Before, anytime the ball was thrown and I tried to switch players it didn't seem to make any sense who it would switch to. Now the switching works a lot better and you actually get the player you would think you should be.
