I played a game last night vs Navy and out of 68 plays, they ran the ball 57 times. I was amazed to see that stat. They threw the ball only 11 times(for those mathematically challenged

)

I don't recall ever seeing that before in the NCAA series. Oh and I won the game 20-10.

I had a game where Georgia Tech threw it once on me all game.

Yeah, that one got overdone.

But the Navy stats? Spot on. Maybe a couple passes extra, but very close.

yeah I was very happy with them. They threw the ball maybe 4 or 5 times in the 4th quarter as they were trailing, but other than an occasional PA pass, they were content to move the ball on the ground.
