TV recommendations

Hi all, I was looking for advice on a new gaming TV. Just wondering if it is worth upgrading to a HD TV and what the optimal specs would be for PS3 gaming. (i.e. 1080p vs 720p and what Hz). Thanks for any input!

Re: TV recommendations

Yea its deff worth upgrading to an HD TV.

But you need to ask yourself what price range you are looking for, then figure out what you want based on that.

This is what I got...

May not be the best HD TV out there, but for $350, you can't beat it.

Re: TV recommendations

Yeah, figure out how much you'd like to spend. Then save up more and spend more to get something better. I believe in the philosophy that when it comes to technology, you need to buy for the future. So spend a little extra to get a t.v. that will keep you happy for a long time and keep you up with the Joneses.

Since you're getting one for gaming, and I'm assuming sports, I'd go with a plasma as they have a higher refresh rate than lcds. Of course led'ss are the best t.v.'s out there but pretty pricey.

And if someone tells you that plasmas are bad and about the burn in deal, don't listen to them. They have no idea what they're talking about.
