What happend to the open field celebrations?

Am I just making stuff up or didn't players in NCAA '10 celebrate as their running in for a TD with a teammate when they were in the open field? I could remember teammates holding up their #1 as I run into the end zone. Was this removed?

A KO return I had today is what made me think about it. I was in the open field, no one within 20 yards of me and teammates on boths sides of me and nothing happend.

It's a penalty now. So I wonder if it will be enforced in the game IF there are open field celebrations.

Ya it's a penalty now like the poster above said. One of worst rules I've ever seen......... YOURE ON YOURE WAY TO A BIG KICKOFF RETURN TO WIN , BUT WAIT YOU START TO DANCE 5 YARDS BEFORE THE ENDZONE...... *Ref throws flag GAMEOVER YOU LOSE!"

Yes I know it is a penalty for you to high step into the end zone, but I doubt very seriously that it is a penalty for your teammate to hold up the #1 on your way to the end zone.
