Angry Pass Blocking Issues

I am having major problems with the pass blocking on Heisman level. I am using Alabama so running the ball I am doing fine but (ANY) pass play I am almost always having to scramble out of the pocket as soon as I get the snap because of a DL coming in because they have got past one of my lineman like he was nothing! Play action passes are almost a sure sack or I am having to throw it away because I am about to be hit as soon as the QB comes out of his play fake.. I am wondering if it is something I might be doing wrong because it is just insane how poor the pass blocking has been considering that it was supposed to be one of the big areas of improvement over past ncaa games and so far this is the worst one I have played in terms of the pass blocking! I know you can adjust the pass blocking slider but I have never had to mess with sliders in the past and I almost feel like I am cheating by turning it up! I have used slide protections but it makes no difference it seems!

Re: Pass Blocking Issues

It's not cheating to increase your pass blocking slider. They're there to make the game more realistic. I know I turned mine up, as I was having a hard time believing that my QB should be getting destroyed every play.

Re: Pass Blocking Issues

The only problem I've seen with pass blocking is that when you do a playaction it does become almost a automatic sack everytime. But I haven't fooled with the sliders yet neither. But if that don't work then it could be a problem that can be fixed in a patch update down the road.

Re: Pass Blocking Issues

Change up your snap count, and your gameplan setting to aggressive for "Hold Blocks Longer".

Re: Pass Blocking Issues

realistically the pass rush should be where it is, people assume theres something wrong with the AI pass blocking or the cpu cheating but what you are supposed to do to protect the qb is use things like slide protection to cover your blind side or hot route your tight end or hb and have him block cause when your sending 5 or 6 and you have 5 blocking chances are one player will be good enough to break a block especially on heisman. thats why quarterbacks talk at the line so much calling out whos blitzing and who should pick him up. the only problem i have is that protection is far too good for the computer when the cpu doesnt have to make any changes but it can all be tweaked with sliders. i hoped this helped a little
