Players Transferring

So I had a recruit that caught 66 balls, 1000 yards and 7 TD's his freshman year. Then his second year he gets off to a great start with 33 catches and 7 TD's only 5 games into the season. Then he gets hurt and misses 10 weeks (which was the rest of the season). After his second season he transfered due to lack of playing time...he was hurt there was nothing I could do about it. I was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar.

Re: Players Transferring

I hadn't seen it happen but I had heard about it. It seems that your recruit has to play a certain number of games to be considered as receiving enough playing time. So although he was injured the game engine just saw it as him sitting out and not playing and thus made him transfer. Agree it sucks, should probably get looked at.

Did you move him down the depth chart when he was injured?

This. I think a lot of people are doing this.

That's just not right at all.

You can recruit these players back to your team.

My backup running back wanted to leave for this reason. Spent 60 mins time and convinced him to come back. He is still the backup, but I didn't want to see him walk.

Re: Players Transferring

It seems that there is some programming code, that has certain players transfer out all the time regardless of what they do.

I simmed the first year with Rutgers three times, and the same two players requested to leave regardless of their playing time. What made it funny one of them was a WR who wanted to go to Navy for more playing time.

I didn't move him down my depth chart. And I tried to talk him into staying. I spent two hours on him and he still left. I guess it's just a flaw in the transfer system.
