Help with recruiting please

I'm doing a dynasty with miami and through week 7 I have 1 commit (5* G) but on 90% of my recruits boards, I am ranked 2nd. How can I improve my recruiting and climb to #1 in interest? How should I conduct phone calls and allotment of points? How many recruits should I keep on my board? Any tips would be appreciated.

The CPU puts 50-60 minutes to each recruit. I'd suggest you do the same and try to bash them.

If you're going up against juggernauts you're simply not going to get them. I love how it's done this year.

Great program, but not on the same level as Florida, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc...

What NDAlum was saying is if these big schools are spending 50 to 60 minutes on the same recruit, you're not going to pry them away unless you spend the same amount of time, which is realistic.

I recruit on AA, play with Georgia, only go after 15 guys, spend 40 mins per player per week. I have had success.

I'm recruiting on AA as well..and I guess I'll ut my board down and spend more time on each recruit

I know right now, as Va Tech, I'm on week 13, sitting with 1 5 star, 10 4 star, and 6 3 star commits on All-American. Besides the advice given out already, make sure you're removing every person you have no chance at, replacing them with someone else you can get. You can find 3 star guys who you can get very easily, and after looking at their ratings, you can decide if they are good or a garbage player. If I wanted to, I could fill all 25 scholarships in season, as I have 6 soft commits from 3 stars. But I have removed their scholarships due to offseason magician recruits appearing out of thin air.

If I'm close to a team, I'll downplay about 40% of my pitches. The others I hard sell. And I also NEVER promise players anything unless I'm desperate to get a recruit.
