Recruiting Question

How many of you unlocks what the recuit thinks of the topic? Does it help in landing him where you can target what he likes when you get to choose his topic?

I almost always try to find out what he thinks first. It helps me target what to push on his campus visit. So far, I have been really successful recruiting this way.

Do you try to hard sell the pitch when you have a slightly lower grade then the other team? Does that help any?

I try to hard sell only if I don't have at least 3 really strong pitches to use on campus visit. Sometimes it works, other times not. I don't think it ever hurts me though.
