QB Slide

Anybody else having a problem with this?

It says to tap to slide but half the time my guy winds up doing that stupid dive and fumbles the ball 99% of the time.

I liked it better when square was to dive and triangle was to slide.

They need to seperate the controls for this.

Re: QB Slide

Im pretty sure if its a pass play, he will do a normal slide.

But if its like a option play he will do a dive.

Re: QB Slide

The tap isn't as responsive as you'd like it to be. It works only about 80% of the time. It wouldn't be such a big deal if EA didn't think that if a player dives he should fumble 95% of the time.

Re: QB Slide

I usually get the weird glitchy animation where the QB looks like he's going to start to dive but then he winds up sliding.

Ya true about the fumble thing, but EA did that I'm sure to stop cheesers. Because if you didn't fumble very much when you dove everyone would just dive everyplay before they get tackled for a extra 3 yards.

Most of the dive when I slide with my Qb he does a 1/2 forward dive then he bends back and slides

same for me. I've never had it actually dive when I wanted to slide though.
