Controlling WR

A buddy and I used to play football together quite a bit back in the day. He would normally play MLB and I play QB. Due to getting older and family responsibilities we haven't played any co-op lately.

We are going to try and play some co-op this year but he is thinking of playing receiver this time. In the past we have tried this and there doesn't seem to be much control over what the receiver does to catch a ball. He can run the routes but if he presses triangle and wants to catch sometimes the receiver will just put his hands up normally when he should be jumping.

Anyone else play co-op with a buddy where one controls the QB and other controls a WR? Have they made any improvements to that lately?

Re: Controlling WR

Well I can't say I've played co-op but I've switched over and controlled the WR for most of a game before it worked pretty well. There were some mess ups of course I mean it's NCAA always going to be. But it worked well enough I think.
