the sim movement is misguided

i hear all of this stuff about simulation football and what needs to be in madden and ncaa football games. u have THE SIM STANDARD, therealsimstandard, and all these other guys talking about what the essence of football is but they forget to mention what might be the most important aspect of the game; the most important person and that is the quarterback they always fail to mention who someone so vital to a game is constantly overlooked they worry about foot -planting and making the players run the "right way". But the way to play qb stays the same there is no difference between rex grossman and peyton manning the both play the same thats why when u play online hardly anyone picks the colts for what. the only game to add something to address it was madden with the vision cone but they were killed for it so they scrapped it. So if u want to preach simulation football then u have to start with the qb play. If not then u are just being irresponsible.

U are totally off base and attacking a stance they have never taken. And foot planting and running animations is a vital thing to the way the game should look. I know using 2k5 as a standard is cliche but it really makes no sense why a 7 yr game has features and animations that arent in current versions...

Re: the sim movement is misguided

If you would like to start a thread in the wishlist forum about your idea's to make QB play more realistic feel free to do so.

However, this thread isn't a productive one so I'm going to close it.
