Redshirt question

I forgot to redshirt a QB at the start of the season, and have since saved. Anyway to get him one or have I missed the opportunity?

Sorry if this has already been answered, I did a search and couldn't find anything.

in the game, if a player that has not been redshirted yet does not get any stats, he'll be automatically redshirted.

So basically remove him completely from the depth chart.

Yeah as long as he a.) does not compile a single stat on the stat sheet and b.) has not been given a "no redshirt" promise, he'll redshirt.

For some reason, no matter what, if you have promised a no redshirt, the game will not auto-redshirt him regardless of his stat situation.

damn I never knew about this. I forgot to do this to someone and said screw it, I lost the year with him anyways I'll play him in mop up duty to get something out of him. Guess I shouldn't have haha

Interesting about the no stat thing - does that mean if a linemen goes a whole year without a pancake then they get a redshirt?

Well did they ever play a game? right when you see the field, the redshirt option is gone.
