Do you give your coach a backstory?

I'm fairly OCD so I go back and look at whose staff my guy was under prior to his current gig, and I ONLY choose from places that have had a real opening that offseason. With coordinators and Alma Matters now in the game, it makes it even more interesting for me. For intance this year my coach:

Played Linebacker at North Texas from 2000-2004
Was a graduate Assistant at Notre Dame in 2005 under Charlie Weis
Was linebackers coach at Idaho in 2006 under Dennis Erickson
Followed Erickson to Arizona State in 2007
Left to take the same job at Nebraska under Bo Pelini in 2008
Stayed at Nebraska from 2008-2010 and was the hired to be Tulsa Defensive coordinator for the 2011 season.

I somewhat do the same. For instance, I had a dynasty with Tennessee, pretending Derek Dooley never took over. Also with Minnesota recently after Brewster left. But that doesn't cut it ever since CC was announced. SO excited to not have to live in as much of a fantasy world anymore.

Sure. He's a hotshot high school and then Junior College coach from Southern California who won titles at those levels and is getting a crack as an OC at struggling Utah State. I might consider tossing in some FBS experience too but like the previous post said, with CC I'm going to leave the FBS history to the game.

uh kinda in my head. with pro games i sort of say i won the lottery and bought the team haha. in college i just say that i was a grad assist with just baller offensive ideas and they took a chance. nothing too much ha.

This year my OC will be molded after my RTG RB. I will pretend that he had a Hall of Fame RB that career got ended early due to injuries and nothing left to prove. I will start at Memphis and end up in North Carolina. His age will be around 30.

I guess I will have to give my guy one if I end up purchasing the game. My coach in Choops2k8 has one. It makes thing interesting.

Yeah 30 is about my guys age too, about as young as you can reasonably say.

That was actually my secondary dynasty i play as an alum from a small school so i could really end up coaching anywhere.

2004-2006 Cincinnati QB Coach (Under Saban's former assistant Mark Dantonio)
2007-2008- Michigan State QB coach (following Dantonio)
2009 LA Tech O/C (under Saban's former assistant Derrick Dooley)
2010 Tennessee O/C following Dooley
2011- LSU O/C
