NCAA on Madden 11 (xbox360)
For those that still have a copy of Madden 11...
Purpose:
-Occupy time until NCAA release.
-Test Madden features that may be in NCAA, but done different.
-Test Madden features that are not in NCAA, but might be a good add to the game.
What's needed:
-Some type of Resigner
(Don't know if against OS rules to post detailed info, so I won't, but internet is your best friend to were, why and how if you must know)
File contains:
32 College Teams (Be sure to look at pictures on separate posting below this post)
Being handicaped by Madden's to few Logo's, these teams were the easiest to create for (teams like Oregon, Oklahoma, Miami got generic similiarities)
-Alabama
-Arkansas
-Arizona St
-Auburn
-Boise St
-Cincinnati
-Clemson
-Florida
-Florida St
-Fresno St
-Hawaii
-Illinois
-Iowa
-Kansas St
-Miami
-Michigan
-Michigan St
-Notre Dame
-Ohio St
-Oklahoma
-Oklahoma St
-Oregon
-Penn St
-Pitt
-TCU
-Tennessee
-Texas
-UCLA
-USC
-Virginia Tech
-Wake Forest
-Wisconsin
Gameplans (watered down to reflect College Level playcalling)
-Playcalls for the right situations (no passing plays on 4&1 etc...)
-You may need to create Gameplans to fit your perspective.
-2Back (for teams like Wisconsin etc...)
-Gun Option (for teams like Oregon, Auburn etc...)
-3-2-6 Defense (for teams like TCU etc...)
-3-4 Defense
-4-3 Defense
-4-6 Defense
Structure:
Control all 32 Teams for:
-making sure right players go to right type of team (see Recruiting)
-editing players (may have to overlook ht/wt as they mean nothing anyway)
-forcing teams to utilize lower rated players on roster vs picking out of FA because of a higher OVR (mainly Lower Division Schools)
Recruiting through the Draft (3 Tiers consisting of 2 rounds each)
(see Scheduling for part B of this aspect)
-Upper Division Schools (Texas, Oklahoma, Auburn etc...)
-1st and 2nd round players only
-Middle Division Schools (Wisconsin, Arkansas, Boise St etc...)
-3rd and 4th round players only
-Lower Division Schools (Hawaii, Fresno St, UCLA etc...)
-5th and 6th rounde players only
-No selections out of 7th round, use as Walk-on's if needed
Team Progression/Regression:
-Upper Division Teams
>below .500 2 of 3 years, drop down a Tier and select players according to Middle Division Team Recruiting structure
-Middle Division Teams
>below .500 2 of 3 years, same as Upper Division Teams
>above .500 2 of 3 years, move to Upper Division Teams
>make to Division game, team allowed to select a (1) 2nd rounder in Draft/Recruiting
>win Division game, team allowed to select (2) 2nd rounders in Draft/Recruiting
>make to Championship game, team allowed to select (1) 1st rounder in Draft/Recruiting
>Win Championship game, team moved to Upper Division Teams and allowed (1) 1st rounder and (1) 2nd rounder in Draft/Recruiting
-Lower Division Teams
>above .500 2 of 3 years, move to Middle Division Teams
>make to Division game, team allowed to select a (1) 3rd rounder in Draft/Recruiting
>win Division game, team allowed to select (2) 4th rounders in Draft/Recruiting
>make to Championship game, team allowed to select (1) 1st rounder in Draft/Recruiting
>Win Championship game, team moved to Middle Division Teams and allowed (1) 1st rounder and (1) 2nd rounder in Draft/Recruiting
Scheduling:
-Replaced NFL Teams in same division with College Teams that normally play each other (there will have to be some flexibility due to NFL Division Structure)
My setup in the Dynasty File (you may want to do your own)

Middle - Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan St
Lower - Illinois
South
Upper -Virginia Tech, Miami, Florida St, Clemson
Middle - Boise St, Cincinnati, Wake Forest
Lower - Fresno St
East
Upper - Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee
Middle - Arkansas, Pitt, Kansas St
Lower - Hawaii
West
Upper - Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Oregon
Middle - Oklahoma St, Arizona St, TCU
Lower - UCLA
Player Editing:
Unfortunately, can't have it both ways
If you're a Play Now Gamer...
-Edit Created Team Rosters using current NFL players on teams and in FA
-If you use this method and take into Dynasty, CPU will change jersey #'s
If you're a Dynasty Gamer and want real names/numbers
-Edit Created Team Rosters using the created players from team type selected during creation (Air It Out, All Madden etc...)
-Very time consuming though as you must release and sign players to the teams you want them on before editing
(some people really need that guy to have dreads etc...)
Again, something to occupy time until release of NCAA.
Hope it helps you pass the time!!!
Quick notes:
-Make sure auto sprint is off!!!
-Find a good slider set that will remove the Pro'ish feel to the game.
Or tinker yourself!!!
Leave any constructive feedback, as I'm looking to do the same thing with M12 since many of it's features again will not be in NCAA.
-Franchise with non-edited Team Rosters included in file.
Currently editing names/numbers in Franchise, will update as I finish a couple teams at a time.
