Recruiting as a Coordinator - Realistic

Is a coordinator, is it possible to use only half the recruiting hours (5 of 10 if like last year) to recruit just my side of the ball? Then the other 5 hours the AI would recruit the offensive side...would this work?

A lot of teams have Recruiting Coordinators who are either offensive coordinators or D coordinators..But as a recruiting coordinator they are quite responsible for both the offense and defense (though all coaches recruit for their respective positions).

So yeah I am guessing you will be responsible for the full 10 hours.

I dont have the game but you can use house rules and only use 5 hours. However, I assume that the CPU will recruit whatever player they want. Probably the opposite side of the ball but its possible they go after a few on the side you're recruiting for.

This is something you can house rule pretty easily and I will also be doing.

Just make sure the CPU cant add people to the recruiting board and then use your 5 hours on the guys that are on your side of the ball. The CPU will then have no choice but to use the other 5 hours on the other side of the ball.
