My quarterback's carrying rating is 78 and he fumbles all the time when scrambling. I have even tried to protect the ball when getting hit and it doesn't work. Is this another glitch?

Two scrambles in a row after I started this thread and fumbled it both times. Both fumbles were returned for six. Something ain't right with the qb carrying the ball. Anyone else seeing this?

They put it in on purpose to discourage people from scrambling with QB's. The amount of fumbles is much lower on designed QB runs.

I am assuming it's to prevent online dynasties qb's from scrambling, but it kinda screws offline play.

Is there anyway to fix this? A balanced qb scrambling when the pocket breaks down with a carry rating of 78 should not be fumbling every 2 or 3 scrambles. Someone mentioned it is this way on purpose to prevent people from running their qb all over the place during online play. But, I only play offline dynasty and it is quite annoying. The QB is also fumbling on option plays. Does this happen to a QB that has a tendency for scrambling? Also, fumbles by RB's are way down this year. In eight games my defense forced 2 fumbles.

EA-please fix this in offline play.

I try to slide when I scramble. Haven't seen many fumbles doing that.

Slide.

IRL, generally QB's fumble at a much higher rate than any other skill position. The top 20 all time NFL fumblers are QB's.
