Best Ps2 version and Why?

what is the best ps2 vesrion of ncaa in your opinion and why?
go really in depth because i might skip 13 and go back to ps2!

Honestly, I think it would be ridiculous to do that. NCAA 13 is better than the PS2 versions IMO.

But each to their own.

You can't go wrong with 06 or 07.
The graphics will be quite a step down (as I'm sure you are aware). I purchased a component cable for my PS2 and that helps some, but it's still a little rough around the edges. The AI isn't perfect, some animations are cheesy, and there aren't nearly as many plays. But....
If you're a gameplay junkie I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The player movement it great, the passing is so much fun, and the recruiting is head and shoulders above anything SO FAR this generation.
If you've played 12 at all be prepared to learn how to play all over again.

NCAA 06 or 07. Gameplay is so much better and the game is just so much more in depth, especially in dynasty with the sports illustrated covers and stuff. NCAA 06 is my personal all time favorite.

^this. Without question the best NCAA football game I've ever played, and I've been playing NCAA every year since 1999.

I bought NCAA 07 for 360, and I was upset you couldn't edit rosters. Kind of the reason I picked it up. Wanted to make the teams rosters present day.

I popped 2004 in the other day and it's definitely showing its age. A GREAT game when it came out, but it's tough to play now. 06, for some reason, doesn't feel as dated, even though there's only 2 years between games.
