Question regarding "jersey updates" throughout the season

Has this ever been addressed outside of EA stating that teams like Mizzou and Rutgers would get their new uniforms update throughout the season?

I'm talking actual specifics or is that all we know at this point?

The reason I ask is because EA has never been a company to rely on when it comes to keeping their word (see last year's pro combat DLC that never happened) and I can see them not doing these updates at all.

Do you think it would be like the NHL series where we have to input a jersey code or would it be done through patches?

Or would EA have us pay for these jerseys to be included in the game?

I did a search and didn't come on anything substantial so that's why I'm asking here.

Personally I think it would be terrible for EA to make us pay for uniforms that should already be included in the game.

They mentioned it in a live stream with Machinima but Ben Haumiller chose his words carefully. He said they were "working" on getting them in through a DLC.

It could happen but I don't know if there are exact details yet because nothing is official.

They hinted at it last year and of course, never happened. So it's pretty hush right about now. I'd say 30% chance we see these '"jersey updates"

I wish they would update the Washington Huskies Unis. They have missed them for 2 years now. Its not a huge deal since its only a college game and not a pro sports game but it still would be kinda nice.

Well, i would hope for this DLC, but it wont happen. Because that would require effort on their part.

This is the third year.

Washington hasn't worn the home jerseys that are in the game since 2009.

I'm glad that they finally got the right color green for Michigan State. Also, I can't wait to use MSU's pro combats, they're going to be sweet.

It's pretty pathetic that they can't update uniforms throughout the year the way NBA 2k adds jersey codes throughout the year.

And if Ben says they are working on getting them in as DLC this year that means they won't be in. When have you known this NCAA team to add something after the game is released other than a bunch of patches that end up causing new problems?
