Being the "away" team in ranked online play

I've played 10 ranked games online, have a record of 9-1 and I'm ALWAYS the away team. Is there some trick i'm missing here? How do I become the home team?

Does anyone know if the "home field advantage effects" has an impact on ranked online play at all? If it does, i'm always at a disadvantage being the away team which is not really fair...

I don't think it does bro, but now I lost a game playing away in an online ranked match with some weak post route with my defender all over the wide receiver.
Try creating a match next time and it should put you as the home team.

HFA does not apply in online matches. However, if you want to be the home team (to play with your unis or w/e) go to "Create Custom Match" and just create a ranked match. You will be the home team then.

Side note: Before you do this, go into Play Now and click through to the part where you select the weather. This loads the weather channel database. If you then go and start the ranked match, you'll have the accurate weather for that stadium.
