Need Help on Defense

1) I can't stop anybody from running the ball, and I've been using LSU and Alabama. What team do you suggest I use? Which playbook do you all suggest? What formations/plays can I call? My friend uses Tennnssee, and again even using LSU, or Bama I still can't stop his running.

2) My pass D needs help too. He uses a 2 TE formation that he always passes out of and I can't ever stop either TE. If I run man his full back is always open on hook routes cause my linebackers won't keep up. If I run zone they just the the guys run right under neath them and won't come up to cover anyone.

Honestly it just sounds like you are not that good as your friend and he is exploiting your weaknesses. LSU and Bama would murder Tenn with any run stopping plays. I run a 4-3 against the run. As far as the two TE set run a nickel man defense. That is what I do. Who do you control on D?

After getting murdered by the 3-3-5 I switched to it and user the MLB. This defense seems to be the one this year. It seems your friend has tendencies. Learn them and exploit them like he is to you. I used to user a D line player and noticed I was getting housed by the TE. Switch it up on him. Heck, throw linemen in zone every now and then. Make him guess what you are doing.
