multi player dynasty

Can somebody walk me through the process of a same system multi player dynasty. I was under the impression we would be able to do this. I would like to start one with my son. Thanks~

go to coach info in dynasty and then press Y or RB (it says at the bottom) to create a new coach. after the coach is created you can choose a team

i don't think you can actually take over another coach here

Can u do an online dynasty with someone on the same console? My brother in law who now lives with me, wants to play in me and my buddy's dynasty. Would he just need to an Xbox live account and then we can play? Will we be able to play each other during the season. Any help would be great. I don't want him to waste his money for nothing.
