What Age For Your Coach...

Did you start with as you entered the Coaching Carousel as an O-Coordinator?
Aren't most Div 1 coaches around mid 30's when they become a head coach for the first time?

Asking because I think the game default is 21...wondering if you made your coach older...?

35-45 looks like the most common age for first time head coaches (I did a little digging on wikipedia but got bored after a while). So I would guess if you're looking to start a dynasty as a coordinator, probably 28-30 would be the youngest you might see for a first-time coordinator.

I didn't really know there was any strategy to it..I always just make my coach in the game the same age I am in real life..

When I was under 21, I would just make him as young as possible.

I know me too but since there's no new version coming out soon and I can see myself actually playing this game for a few more years that's when I started thinking about it...

I just start young and let him age over time. It makes it more interesting to play multiple seasons.

I figured I would wait four or five seasons before taking a head coaching job too...im in year 3 as an O-Coordinator and now I'm trying to decide should I change my age to around early 30's or just SIM a season at a time... If I SIM I lose all of user variables that I control and could get fired! Lol... Plus I'm vested in my current team... Prob gonna just edit my coach...

If you're worried about being fired while simming then run a option offense. The game favors option teams and if you switch your playbook to the triple option you will finish 6-6 or better no matter what usually.
